With only two event weekends remaining in the USF2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, Miller Vinatieri Motorsports has added Kent Vaccaro to their driver lineup. Vaccaro will hop behind the wheel of a USF-17 and race alongside Jack William Miller this weekend at the New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, New Jersey.

“We are excited to have Kent join us in New Jersey,” expressed Jack Miller. “I have known both him and his family for quite some time and have always been keen to get him into our program. Kent knows the facility well as he has competed there in the past. While we were planning a test day together, the race weekend opened up and Kent jumped at the opportunity to compete.”

As a former competitor in the F4 United States Championship as well as the FR Americas program, Vaccaro will now make the switch to the Road to Indy. With plans not yet determined for 2021, this is the perfect opportunity for the Purdue University student.

“I went to the Lucas Oil Raceway to watch the oval race in August and then to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway event in September and was really impressed,” added Vaccaro. “The level of competition and professionalism is second to none and I am looking forward to experiencing it as a driver, rather than a spectator. A huge thank you to Jack Miller and Miller Vinatieri Motorsports for the opportunity and to my partners for their continued support.”

With a Promoters Test Day on the schedule on Friday, Kent Vaccaro will head straight into wheel-to-wheel action over the weekend and three opportunities to stand atop the podium in the final triple header of 2020.
