JACK MILLER SET FOR SECOND TEST WITH ABEL MOTORSPORTS IN INDY NXT BY FIRESTONE

With two event weekends under his belt in the USF Pro 2000 Championship, Miller Vinatieri Motorsports driver Jack William Miller is set for his second INDY NXT by Firestone test Thursday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Joining Abel Motorsports for the second time at the hallowed Speedway, Miller is looking to get a head start on his competition for their upcoming event in May but also looks forward to a possible move to the INDY NXT program in 2024.

“As a racer, I want to always be driving and working toward the future,” expressed Jack William Miller. “With more than a month until our next USF Pro 2000 event, this is the perfect opportunity to get back on track and do some preparation for the future.”

Joining Abel Motorsports for his INDY NXT testing debut back in October of 2022 at the Fall Combine event, Miller is ready for another day behind the wheel of the potent Dallara IL-15.

“Jack proved that he can handle the physicality of driving the INDY NXT machine as well as the speed,” added Abel Motorsports Team Owner Bill Abel. “It will be our first time running three INDY NXT machines on one weekend, but it will also help us expand our knowledge of the new Firestone Tires and help us gather data for the future. Jack is a good young driver, and his feedback is in line with what we need to grow our efforts.”

“I am looking forward to watching Jack in his second day behind the wheel of an INDY NXT car,” explained former Indianapolis Colts Kicker Adam Vinatieri. “I will be trackside to take it all in and watch Jack drive, not only as Co-Owner in the MVM program but as a race fan as well. Jack is destined for a career in INDYCAR and it is exciting to follow his progress.”

Miller added, “A huge thank you to Abel Motorsports, Patterson Dental, Blue Marble, and all who have helped make my racing dream a reality. I look forward to continuing to climb the motorsports ladder and look forward to getting on track Thursday.”
