MILLER VINATIERI MOTORSPORTS AND JACK WILLIAM MILLER SET FOR LUCAS OIL RACEWAY THIS WEEK
While some drivers are lucky to have one hometown event, Jack William Miller and Miller Vinatieri Motorsports are lucky enough to have two. Taking on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course last weekend, the Westfield, Indiana based program will is now set to take on the .686-mile Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park for the Carb Night Classic.
“Both the Speedway and Lucas Oil Raceway bring back some very fond memories,” expressed Miller. “The two locations were the sites of my first two podiums in USF2000 back in 2020, and I am looking forward to continuing the podium streak that I restarted last weekend.”
Now competing in the Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tire, the #40 MVM entry will carry Patterson Dental branding into their second Indianapolis based event of the season. With a hometown crowd and several friends, families and partners in attendance, Jack William is looking to make his mark on the Brownsburg, Indiana oval.
Miller added, “I really enjoy oval racing, and we have a good baseline at Lucas Oil. We had a decent test there and think we have a good setup to unload with. We have a few sessions to get up to speed, but I am confident in my abilities and my team, especially with the alliance that we have established with Exclusive Autosport.”
Taking to the track on Thursday, Miller will compete in the Carb Night Classic Cooper Tires Freedom 90 on Friday evening with the green flag set to fly at 8:05pm.
