MILLER VINATIERI MOTORSPORTS HEADS TO PORTLAND AFTER A PAIR OF TOP-TEN RESULTS IN TEXAS

It was a hot and humid weekend at the Circuit of the Americas as Jack William Miller piloted his Patterson Dental and Blue Marble Productions backed Miller Vinatieri Motorsports entry to a pair of top-ten results. Shifting his focus to the finale event of 2023 this weekend, the Indianapolis-based program will continue its cross-country trek to the famed Portland International Raceway.

“It was a decent weekend,” explained Miller. “We struggled in qualifying but were able to move forward in both races. We will take the positives from here and move to Portland next weekend as we look to finish the season strong.”

After qualifying in the 12th position, Miller went on to move forward during the wheel-to-wheel action earning a pair of top-ten results including seventh in race one on Saturday and tenth in race two Sunday. Leaving Austin, Texas tenth in the championship standings, Miller earned the Hard Charger Award for the weekend and will have the chance to move forward with a solid weekend at the triple-header finale.

With no time off and back-to-back race weekends, Miler and the MVM crew will continue their cross-country trek to the West Coast. Set to take on the Portland, Oregon facility over the Labor Day holiday weekend, both team and driver are aiming for success as they build momentum toward a yet-to-be-announced 2024 program.

Miller added, “It was great to have the CEO of SAAM, Rob and Lauren Qualls, and their staff trackside with us this weekend. Looking forward, the goal in Portland is easy. Finish all three races and be fighting in the top-five.”
