Jack William Miller and Miller Vinatieri Motorsports, competing under the Abel Motorsports umbrella with Miller Vinatieri Motorsports, are set to compete in the #40 car this weekend for Round 8 of the INDY NXT by Firestone season. The team will take on the iconic Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, over the Fourth of July weekend, July 4–6, as the series continues its tour through the Midwest.

The Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio will feature 35 laps around the 2.258-mile, 13-turn road course. Known for its challenging layout, the track demands precision and consistency—factors that promise exciting, wheel-to-wheel racing all weekend long.

With success in the past at Mid-Ohio and fresh off a strong performance at Road America that matched their best result of the season, Miller and the team head into Mid-Ohio with renewed confidence and momentum. A recent test at the Milwaukee Mile has also helped keep the team sharp and race-ready.

“We made some solid progress last weekend at Road America and showed we can be competitive on permanent road courses,” explained Miller. “Mid-Ohio is always a fun challenge, and I feel like we’re in a great place heading into the weekend. Personally, I have made huge strides forward working with the Abel Motorsports program and look to continue that growth this weekend.”

Track action begins Friday with Practice 1 at 3:00 PM ET on FS2. Saturday will feature Practice 2 at 8:30 AM ET and Qualifying at 1:30 PM ET, both airing live on FS1. The Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio will take place on Sunday at 10:30 AM ET on FS1.
