Miller Vinatieri Motorsports Ready to Take on Second INDY NXT Oval of 2024

After a month-long break, INDY NXT by Firestone returns to racing this weekend at World Wide Technology Raceway (WWTR) in Madison, Illinois. Miller Vinatieri Motorsports (MVM) is gearing up to take on only their second INDY NXT oval race, hoping to bring what they learned from Iowa Speedway and turn that into results at the challenging short oval.

Last time out at Iowa Speedway, Jack William Miller showed strong speed in his first INDY NXT oval weekend, making moves during the race before a crash, no fault of his own, ended his day early.

“Iowa was a tough weekend, but we learned a lot,” Jack William Miller explained. “As a one-car team and the newest team in INDY NXT, we value any track time, especially on ovals. I’m looking forward to seeing how what we learned in Iowa can translate to the remaining ovals of the season, starting with World Wide Technology Raceway this weekend.”

Heading into the season’s final four races, Miller is ready to tackle new challenges, including two tracks new to the entire INDY NXT field.

“This final stretch of the season will be challenging, but I’m excited for that,” Miller added. “Two new ovals – that we’ve tested on but no one in the field has raced on – evens the playing field a little bit, and I’m looking to take advantage of that and bring home some solid results.”

The final stretch of the season kicks off at World Wide Technology Raceway this weekend, where the INDY NXT field will hit the track Friday for practice and qualifying. The race is set for Saturday at 3:55pm ET.
