Jack William Miller will return as Miller Vinatieri Motorsports’ sole driver for the Detroit Grand Prix this weekend in the blue #40 Patterson Dental / HavenGo by SAAM machine. The event recently moved its location to the scenery of Downtown Detroit and will return to the same barrier lined circuit this weekend, making the event the second street course on the INDY NXT by Firestone season schedule.

Miller looks to make a comeback on the second street course race of the season after a strong season opener in St. Petersburg ended with an undeserved result after slight contact with the turn four wall resulted in a broken toe link.

“I’m looking forward to this weekend and another new track,” explained Jack William Miller. “I have yet to run the Detroit street course so it’ll be a steep learning curve but I’m excited for the opportunity to represent the team out on track. It’ll be important to grab a top-ten result as we start to hit a busy stint in the season.”

Jack Miller and the rest of Miller Vinatieri Motorsports will hit the track Friday for practice, which will lead into practice two Saturday morning followed by qualifying in late afternoon. The Detroit Grand Prix will go green at 10:20 AM (ET) Sunday morning. You can stream the race live via Peacock TV and INDYCAR LIVE. The full weekend schedule can be found below.
